Back Home from the Holiday!

Well i am finally back from our holiday down in Cornwall at White Acres fishery and i am really happy with the holiday and the amount of attacks i had during the entire week. I only had a massive 2 attacks and am over the moon. I didn’t use my oxygen once whilst there and never worried about an attack coming on. It helped that i was really enjoying my holiday and spending time with my mum and Brian my step father. We had such a great holiday and was able to relax and enjoy some top class fishing at the same time.

The weather was great and i even came back with a sun tan. Mind you i burnt my left forearm and hand as i was holding a fishing pole for hours during the hottest day in the week. We never thought to take sun block due to the time of the year but managed with some after sun just to take away the redness after a full days fishing. Out of the seven days there i spent four of them fishing. Twice on a specialist lake targeting big Carp and Catfish and twice on a pleasure lake along side my mother and Brian. We then spent the rest of the days touring the countryside and coasts around Cornwall and also visited Paradise Park a huge Bird Sanctuary specialising in Parrots and Parakeets that housed some rare and beautiful birds. I managed to get a load of photos on my mobile that i will put on a few samples later, when i manage to down load them all.

Before paradise park we went to visit a gold mine in Cornwall that has now been turned into a tourist attraction with some amazing items on display including one million pounds in five pound notes surrounded by bullet proof glass and alarms but you were able to almost touch it. Also one million pounds in gold bullion guarded by an Australian Red Knee Spider, cute but deadly. We also saw the Time machine from Back to the Future and the DB5 from James Bond not to mention the vast amount of gold items and jewellery including a solid gold dress.

The fishing at the lakes was amazing and i cant remember ever catching so many quality carp in one session before and the health and quality of the fish was great. I spent a couple of days targeting the larger of the Carp species but unfortunately didn't get the monster i wanted but got plenty of the mid range sized fish so it more than made up for it. Unfortunately i lost my favourite fishing sun glasses so ended up buying a new pair from a massive super shopping mall on the way back in Devon known as Trego Mills. I also manages to stock up on some cheap fishing baits whilst there ready for my next fishing trip that is on bank holiday Monday. Now the weather is nicer i will get less and less attacks as we go into the summer so i will take advantage of the situation and get in as much fishing as i possibly can afford to do.

Its still a little difficult walking long distance and lifting heavy items as i am still suffering from a hernia and still having problems with my bowls. Sometimes they work and sometimes they just don't want to help. It looks like what ever had caused me to suffer with the hard wind balls and bad stomach has started off IBS and i will now have to take even more medication to help solve the problem. I still suffer with a lot of wind and sometimes get pains in my sides like you wouldn’t believe. I know have to watch my diet and start eating more healthy making sure i have three meals per day. Whilst on holiday i was spoilt as Brian cooked breakfast every morning and my mother made sure i ate extremely healthy dinners.

I had a wonderful time on holiday and it is always sad for a holiday to end. i have never felt so healthy after that holiday and have put on a lot of weight. i now have to continue to eat healthily and start to watch what i am doing from now on in. I cant wait for our next holiday as we are even planning for next year to maybe go away to Devon at a fishery we visited on the way home and get in another week of rest and relaxation. Its something we should definitely do every year, just take a week out and sort out your health. You feel so much better after that little break.
